CELPIP Listening Task 2 - Listening a Daily Life Conversation Outline & Key point

1) Outline

- Listen to a conversation between two people and select the right answer for the five questions based on the conversation

- Five questions to listen to each question and then select the most appropriate answer

- Simple instructions on the background of the conversation, such as the location of the conversation and the big topic, are presented in sentences.

- Conversations are made up of everyday subjects and are based on the everyday environment of shopping, home, work, etc.

- I can not see the following questions while listening to a conversation



2) Key point

- Most of the problems are related to the understanding of the flow of contents, and the question based on "5W / 1H"

- Be aware of the whole story by paying attention to the 6th (5W / 1H) principle when listening. That is to say, you should not be tied to each word to break the conversation flow.



- Under-intermediate examinees are most important to understand the trunk of the conversation.

- If a high score applicant is able to memorize while listening, it is also good to make a quick note of the proper noun, date, time etc.

- It is advantageous for examinees who have a lot of opportunities to speak English in everyday life.
